Scott and Carol Present - Batman the Ride at Six Flags Fiesta Texas

The Bat Signal has been shining over Gotham, err... San Antonio for some time now. Everyone is eagerly awaiting Batman: the ride, the new free flying roller coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. All over San Antonio over 200 McDonald store had a decorating contest to see which store could best exemplify the Batman theme.

Without enough time to visit all of the McDonalds partnering with Six Flags Fiesta Texas, we visited just a few of them. Black and yellow are the predominant themes, with a few inflatable characters thrown in. The creativity was astounding.

One of the best is the McDonalds located next to the Rim shopping center just down the road from Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It doesn't show up very well during daylight, but at night when the caped crusader patrols he can clearly see the ride profile shown in rope lights.

Josie, one of the managers of the Rim McDonalds, allowed us to bring you some pictures of their contest entry. We didn't see them all, but we hope you agree that this a strong contender.

Here is the address where the clues and conclusions are reported by Batman.

We were unmercifully teased by a few empty test trains Sunday morning.

Another view of a train rolling through the track. We didn't count the inversions.

During our visit to Six Flags Fiesta Texas on 5/10/2015, this is as close as we got to a ride on the new coaster. It just doesn't seem the same without the bench flipping upside down.

On Wednesday, 5/13/2015, this door will open for the public unveiling. We will be there if the weather cooperates and will bring you a report. Same Bat Time, same Bat Channel (in the near future.)
